The Peaks at Mt Will
As you can see by the photos, you will not find a more spectacular
location. The road is paved all the way to the house and the driveway is
paved as well!
In the morning, you will wake to see where they are making snow and what
was groomed. It is just over a mile to the lifts.
About 2 miles to Sunday Rivers award winning Golf Course!
Directions: From Portland Maine take the Maine Turnpike
to Exit 63 (Grey Exit). Go Left at the light just after the toll plaza,
cross the Interstate and go right at the first light on the new 26A. Go
about 45 mile on Rt 26 thru Oxford, Paris, Bryant Pond. When you get to
Bethel take a right on the Parkway for .5 miles and go right on Rt 2 for
about 2 miles. Take a left off Route 2 at the Sunday River Brew Pub up
the Sunday River Access Road. Go 1.7 miles, when you see the Matterhorn
Ski Bar on your left, go 100 more feet and take a right on to Vista
Drive. You will also start seeing signs for "The Peaks". The house is in
"The Peaks at Mt Will" development. Drive past the Mountain View Condominiums and over the bridge
across the Sunday River. The road starts up hill. At .6 miles there is a
right turn you do NOT want to take (continue straight). At .7 miles you
will see a yellow gate in front of you. At this yellow gate take a hard
right turn here onto Appalachian Drive. We are .4 miles on the right.
Look for the Moose Antlers on the Portico and the Giant Bear holding a "10 Peaks" Sign. If you get to a T in
the road, you just past our driveway.
You can park under the Portico and enter the main level or park in the
garage. Both entryways have mudrooms where we ask you leave your shoes!
GPS Note: Google Maps, Map Quest and Car Navigation Systems show an “Emery Road” that looks like a short-cut – this phantom “Emery Road” does not exist, be sure to ignore it.
